11-20-06: The Lady Vikings beat Pali High in a scrimmage game 2 to 0. Monica Mirch and Amelia Daly got the goals in a game that only heated up in the last ten minutes. Click here for photos 11-30-06: The Lady Vikings went down by conceding a penalty kick early. Right before the half, Monica Mirch fought her way through to tie up the score. Late in the second half, Amelia Daly was fouled hard in the penalty box by a Marymount defender. Michela Fitten put the PK away and gave Samohi the win for their season opener at Marymount. Click here for photos 12-02-06: In the first morning of the South Tournament, the short-handed Lady Vikings defeated Lakewood on a beautiful late cross from Kristen Kearsley to Nora Casey who flew in low to hit a perfect hard header past the Lakewood goalie. Click here for photos 12-02-06: In their afternoon tournament game, the Lady Vikings battled past a violent and aggressive Chatsworth team to win 1 to 0 on a Penalty Kick by Michela Fitten. This puts the Lady Vikings in the Final Eight of the tournament to be continued on Saturday, December 9th. Click here for photos 12-05-06: The girls step up with an away win against Chadwick. They came out strong from the beginning and had a half time lead of 2-0.
